Message from the Chair

Like most I have been completely inspired and in awe of our sportsmen and women this summer. I was lucky enough to attend some of the events at the Olympic Park and can honestly say the Games Makers really deserved the accolades that they received. Their enthusiasm, dedication and fantastic attitudes proved what a welcoming nation we can be. I am convinced that the legacy of the Games will continue to inspire us all.

With the first shades of autumn arriving, many of us are starting to think about events that take place in the run up to Christmas. ITT will once again be at World Travel Market (WTM) in force with the Members Lounge; a fascinating session with former Secretary of State for Transport, Lord Adonis and, of course, the Future You student conference. I encourage all of our educational Members to register for WTM and attend this informative and influential session on the Thursday.

I am also been delighted to have been involved with the TTG 30 under 30, Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders. Each individual is a fantastic example of what can be achieved with the right attitude, ambition, drive and determination! With talent like this coming into the sector, our future is in safe hands.
